AIM Russia is a national not-for-profit association representing companies in Russia that are working on the domestic market of Automatic identification and mobility technologies and solutions. AIM Russia is authorized by AIM Inc, the licensing body for Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility, to utilize its service mark in Russia. AIM Russia operates under license from AIM and is the sole body authorized to utilize this service mark in Russia.

AIM Russia's mission is to maintain and improve its leading role in developing the national market for automatic identification and mobility technologies and solutions by providing highest quality services to its members and users in Russia. This is achieved through active work on the development of national and international specifications and standards, organization of and participation in various international and local trade shows, and promotion of automatic identification and mobility technologies and solutions among potential users via technical seminars, training courses and publications.

AIM Global is the association for and worldwide authority on automatic identification, data collection and networking in a mobile environment. AIM members are providers and users of technologies, systems and services that capture, manage and integrate accurate data into larger information management systems. As a not-for-profit industry organization, AIM's mission is to stimulate the understanding, adoption and use of AIM technology by providing timely, unbiased and commercial-free news and information. AIM is the global source for technically accurate, unbiased, commercial-free and up-to-date information on all automatic identification and mobility.

The mission of AIM is to accelerate the growth and use of automatic identification and mobility technologies and solutions. It is accomplished through concerted action to set international standards, increase global awareness of AIDC solutions and identify and educate current and potential new users on the effective application of the technology.


AIM coordinates an extensive network of licensed national and regional AIM chapters who serve over 900 members in 43 countries.

AIM publishes and distributes technical literature covering the major automatic identification and mobility technologies and solutions.

AIM offers technical support to industry groups through rigorous testing, standardization, and consulting programs.
AIM Technical Committees, comprised of automatic identification and mobility experts from around the world, review standards, develop specifications, and prepare technical briefs on technology-related topics. Through its global structure, AIM is working to insure that standardization, while drawing on local and national expertise, is accomplished on an international basis.
